So when you update the stie do you run over to facebook and update it, or do you have some automated method of sending updates to facebook.
I ask because I have a facebook page for Cymon’s Games but have to update manually. Consequently it doesn’t update often.
I have my personal Facebook setup to auto-update from our blip.tv video backend, but it doesn’t seem like “fan pages” will auto-update. I’ll let you know if I ever find a solution.
Now, I’m new to this whole facebook forums thing, but I don’t see anywhere there were I can start a discussion topic. And looking at who’s started all the discussion topics I don’t think anyone else can. If you want to try this out as a forum you’ve got to make it possible for us to start discussions.
That’s strange. Jon was able to start a topic, and he has no special admin privileges of any kind (for exactly this sort of situation: so we can test what a regular fan sees, etc.). Could you take a screengrab of what the discussions page looks like for you and send it to admin@bytejacker.com?
My screen shot looks an awful lot like what I saw on your show. What do you click to start a new topic?
Okay, checked my site’s facebook page and I have a big “+ Start a New Topic” button in the upper left of my discussion topics, and you don’t. And whoever took the footage for your show this week doesn’t have it either, so no point in a screenshot, just watch your own show.
Well, maybe I’ll give it to you anyways.
