All the way back in April, we wrote about PlayPen, a sort of WikiChooseYourOwnAdventure created by farbs (also known for Captain Forever and Rom Check Fail, among other wonderful things). And, if you’ve explored it yourself, you know that there’s some really wonderful stuff to be found. Too often is the case, though, that in between you and the best parts of PlayPen is a whole lot of, well, crap. Yeah, the “anyone can do anything at any point” mentality is a part of the anarchistic charm of PlayPen, but what if you just want to see the best art the site has to offer?
Enter bestofplaypen.tumblr.com, a regularly updated depository for the greatest pixel art discovered on the site in just the few weeks it’s been around. Since anyone can change any of the art (other than the opening page) at any time, Best Of Playpen seeks to archive the most impressive, interesting, or just plain cool art added to PlayPen in safe, vandal-free place forever! How cool is that?

What bugs me is there’s no link back or, for descriptions on how to get there (which I would find more interesting). taken on it’s own it’s a collection of blocky, chunky, pixel art.

well its better to take a screenshot just in case, u never know wehn someone will try to edit it and ruin it.

@Joe: Actually, the title underneath each image is a link to where the image was found on PlayPen, if that helps. (I totally didn’t realize that until today, though.)
