Everyone’s favorite indie developer Farbs has posted a video blog detailing progress on his upcoming game Captain Jameson, the sequel to the sequel to the sequel to Captain Forever. In it, he talks (through a rad radio-filtered voiceover, of course) about the process of making an RPG sequel to a trilogy of arena shooters, and what new features fans should expect.
All that crazy command-line interaction almost looks like some super-basic version of Uplink‘s gameplay, doesn’t it? Insanity. At any rate, it all looks like it’ll mesh quite well with the highly authentic Captain Forever atmosphere that Farbs has already cultivated (the game’s website basically refuses to acknowledge it’s a website, which is fine by us). Definitely looking forward to seeing how this one turns out.
