Here’s the trailer for Hero Core, the game coming out this May from Daniel Remar, the dude behind Iji.
Damn! Gotta love the Mega Man and Metroid (dig that Mother Brain action at 0:27) vibes this thing’s got. Apparently, it’s a sequel to a game he made back in 2005 called Hero, which you can nab right here if you want an idea of what to expect. Looks good!

looks interesting. and Iji was one of the best indie games i played, so I will keep an eye on this one.
I’m kinda curious about the level structure, it looks a bit shoot em up + metroidvaniaish. Somehow it gives me a bit of a feel of Kid Icarus for the game boy though.
