In anticipation of Joe Danger coming out this year (and in celebration of its just-announced finalist position for two IGF 2009 awards), here’s a nice little gallery of beautiful, high-resolution Joe Danger screenshots courtesy of Hello Games themselves!
- Of course there’s a shark tank. Why wouldn’t there be a shark tank?
Sadly, the Hello Games guys have yet to release any official video of the game, so those of the motion picture persuasion will have to make do with footage that leaked out from Eurogamer Expo back in October. Here are the two leaked videos that deserve to be seen:
The first is a very nice looking (albeit off-screen) 5 minute chunk of gameplay. Absolutely worth seeing to absorb how fun and friendly this game looks, and how attractive it is in motion.
The second one, while not quite as good looking due to compression, is my favorite of the two, as it features a full vocal walkthrough by David Ream, creative director at Hello Games.
Full disclosure: I am way, way, way too excited for this game. Far and away one of my most anticipated games of the year. You know why? Because it looks fun. Look forward to an interview with Sean Murray going up later this month!
Readers! Am I high, or does Joe Danger look like roughly the perfect downloadable game? Let us know in the comments!

In answer to your question, I think probably both.
So….. I am gonna guess this will only see the light of day on the 360? =/
They haven’t announced any specific systems yet, but on their website, they say the game is “aimed at digital download (most likely, one of XBLA/PSN/PC)”, so take that as you will.
looks like a fun game ! might get this because of the Level Editor ! :D
