Do you like minimalism? Do you like frustration? Then you’re probably going to love Swarmation.
Created for Node Knockout, a 48-hour JavaScript game-making competition, Swarmation is probably the purest co-op experience you could ever hope to have. You are a pixel, and your job is to form images within extremely small time windows by cooperating with other human-controlled pixels. As you might imagine, 90% of the time it makes you want to rip your hair out, but when you pull through against all odds and create something kind of awesome with your fellow pixeldudes, it’s a pretty amazing feeling.
The game (which actually wound up winning the competition, by the way) is totally free and playable by clicking the link below. I apologize in advance for the pain you are about to endure.

Hmm, yet another game where your enjoyment of it is entirely dependent on other pople, both being present and not being boneheads. Do you remember the thomas crown game? I remember the thomas crown game.
When will people learn that a game must stand on it’s own in single player. This experimental stuff is interesting experimentally, but in the end not a fun game.
I finally got around to playing this. Initial reaction:
Okay, this one should be easy
Wait, what? We had that!
Okay guys, this one is even CALLED easy, so this SHOULD be easy, but I’d love to see how you screw it up
OH CHRIST! NOT PATCHWORK!
You guys are freakin’ retarded!
RAGEQUIT!
Just like my brother and CoD!
