Poto & Cabenga by Honeyslug is one of the six GAMMA IV finalists that was on display and GDC this year, and it asks you to do something pretty crazy. We’ve seen games like Guns of Icarus that ask you to keep track of and perform multiple duties on a large scale, and I’m sure you’ve probably played Multitask, which asks you to play four games at once, but the former is in full 3D, and the latter has you using at least eight buttons to pull off those tasks.

On the other hand, Poto & Cabenga asks you to control the running and jumping of two separate characters all using one button. And you know what? It works. The game quickly introduces new gameplay elements that make it get pretty tough pretty fast, but I think you’ll be surprised how actually possible it is to succeed.
