Last night, the TouchArcade Game Jam went down at iPhone developer conference 360iDev. The recipe: to gather a bunch of iPhone game devs in one place, add boxed wine, let sit for 12 hours, and see what kind of games come out the other end.
The results were appropriately strange; game topics included controlling a “punicorn”, defending cake from cake lovers (great concept art on this one), and not one, but two separate games involving bacon. TWO.
The one that I find the most exciting, though, is Just Tongue, a game wherein you’re Agent Rico Rodriguez a frog suspended in the air by a parachute large leaf, the object being to retain your forward momentum by attaching yourself to the terrain ahead of you with your grappling hook tongue. Let’s be clear here: this game is totally not just the best part of Just Cause 2 ported to the iPhone.
The full list of games (both complete and incomplete) is here on TouchArcade’s blog or, if you want to cut out the middleman, you can jump directly into the GameJam forum right here.

Really nice. It reminds me a lot of Froggle :D
