Ohhhh man, you guys. Some guy named Roger Svanlund totally made a mock-up trailer for a three-dimensional version of VVVVVV, and it’s kind of destroying my mind right now.
Seriously, setting aside the questionably Master-Chief-looking 3D interpretation of Captain Viridian (where’s the iconic smile? where is it?!), this has to be one of the neatest indie reimaginings we’ve seen in recent memory.
Don’t get your hopes up for this becoming a real game anytime soon – this trailer is just a mockup Svanlund created in Maya. That doesn’t make it any less rad, though. Great work, dude!

Mannnnn, I don’t know how to feel about this. S’nice, but I’m way way way less amped than I was about the Mega Man 2.5D concept short.
I think that’s because megaman 2.5D had a lot more possibilities open up with it, where as this just doesn’t. Almost feels like it’d constrict things.
