When Terry Cavanagh’s opus VVVVVV was first released, it was $15. Pretty pricey by the (admittedly skewed) standards of most indie games, but for the most part, those who played it agreed it was worth it. Then it went on sale for $10.39, and the few stragglers who didn’t buy it when it first came out got it for a pretty awesome bargain price.
Now it’s available on Steam for $4.49, and I swear to god, if you, the last person who hasn’t bought VVVVVV, do not go buy it at this preposterously low price THIS INSTANT, nothing good will ever happen to you ever again. I am so so so so serious.
Click here to go to the VVVVVV Steam page and purchase the game for it’s radically reduced price. THIS IS NOT OPTIONAL. GO.

Oh crap! I’m busy right now! I need more time!
The price goes back up on September 14th – but it’s only a 10% reduction off the price, so it’s only going up 50 cents. It looks like VVVVVV is gonna stay $4.99 on Steam for the foreseeable future.
In short: no rush, brah!
It was kind of depressing to see a big screen filling Ruse ad and a little tab near the bottom of VVVVVV on steam. :(
Too busy? Go here and buy the album then:
