Especially annoying as the following two stages didn't do anything like that, nothing to have me in a perpetual loop, and then the game was over. Just that one stage. It's upping the difficulty telling you to becareful How you select drop points. Which is handy in the later levels. It's not a bug/punishment, but a training tool. At least that's what I think.
