Sorry it ran a bit slow for us. I actually thought that’s how it was meant to be, which made me laugh even harder cause the original was so slow as well :) Either way, well done on the game I hope that you’ll eventually finish it. I wanna see a pixelated Pyramid head OH SO BAD!

[..YouTube..] I’m pretty disappointed that Bootleg Bash wasn’t mentioned or showed at all. :/
I know it wasn’t one of the best, but it controlled fairly well, and I thought most people would get a kick out of NES Smash Bros.

Thanks both of you for the kind words. I’m really sorry that VipeUt was that hard to launch on many systems, especially for it supposed to mimic a 1Mhz machine.

Actually, I knew even before I started VipeUt that ppl would have a hard time to enjoy it, because the engine i’m working with is awesome, but still under development, and mainly targeted at nextgen stuff :)

Anyway, thx Anthony, especially for this review that enlights some of the best TIG Demakes entries !!!

Great roundup!

This compo ate up all of my free time, but it was a hoot and I am stunned by both the amount and quality of the games entered! :D

Finally I now have a weekend free to play all of the other superb looking entries!

Sadly our entry (Large-Scale Vehicular Stealing) was plagued by compatibility issues due to developing with XNA. :( Although after the compo closed we did create a proper installer to fix all of that. So if you tried and failed to get it running and fancy a look, grab the nice installer version here:
