[..YouTube..] Yea nice episode :) But I also don’t have an iPhone : ( But good luck people and make awesome audios and vids :)
No Iphone, so out of luck for the contest – but, on the other hand, we got Anthony to say “Tarry Not”. Which is its own reward, I think.
Also, Death Vegas is full of win.
[..YouTube..] Can’t you give away iphones with the game? jk great episode guys
I was going to vote for Walkie Tonky, simply because I’ve played it before and was very nicely impressed with the visuals and overall game play, and it was like a 30 minutes ago then I opened that link with the cat on robotic something, it is surely addictive!
Voted for Walkie Tonky however.
the music in flashcat is amazing…greetz
Great episode!
Awesome! three great games this week. If I had an iPhone I would try for the comp.
“no bottom lip, total normal, except no bottom lip”
Where do you get so much awesomeness?

fighting game w00t!
death vegas gets my vote. walkie tonky gets repetitive after a bit and uh… idk the cat game will be haunting my dreams i’m sure.

If I do a voicemail on the show, can you give me an iPhone? Or even better, give away something that works on a platform that is more common, like the PC perchance?
Anyway, Walkie Tonky is my pick of the week this week. It does get a bit repetitive after a while, but who cares, you’re a flippin’ robot, for christ’s sake! Oh yeah, and Flashcat was TERRIBLE. I think I died about 10 times, and that was only by the third level. And Death Vegas, well, it seems a bit repetitive and a bit basic for a beat-em-up.
Hmm, I don’t think 3 days is long enough to judge and play these games. :[
Of course I’m just one opinion, but I’d much rather have one combined long show on thursday.
My choice for FIotW. {seesmic_video:{“url_thumbnail”:{“value”:”http://t.seesmic.com/thumbnail/XzVR0yZY9t_th1.jpg”}”title”:{“value”:”My choice for FIotW. ”}”videoUri”:{“value”:”http://www.seesmic.com/video/sxsOonyZIT”}}}
flashcat is frekin’ awesome don’t rate the game poorly just kuz u suck at it aye…
oh and have I mentioned the music…its godlike :]
Death Vegas is awesome. So awesome. Addicting, wacky style, great concept, all wrapped up with fantastic presentation, customizable difficulty, and very intuitive controls. One of the best flash games I’ve played, period.

Death Vegas is my choice :)
I mean, it’s not an ace in gameplay as like Street Fighter IV, but it’s still pretty cool. It’s like Sin City meet King of Fighter with a great style, cool characters and an interesting combat system. Only one fault: I’ve lost my ring finger while button mashing!
Flash Cat for the win! {seesmic_video:{“url_thumbnail”:{“value”:”http://t.seesmic.com/thumbnail/4beyInxBE3_th1.jpg”}”title”:{“value”:”Flash Cat for the win! ”}”videoUri”:{“value”:”http://www.seesmic.com/video/PJJ1C8iRQF”}}}
Bias-O-Meter=3 – Two games are flash based and cant be downloaded. I am terrible at fighting games.
Death Vegas is an unusual fighting game and not because its flash based and thus restricted to the site. The game changes the idea of having twitch reflexes and character moves. This time you don’t have to memorize character attacks, just know how to dodge them and have the reaction time to pull it off. Not that I was ever good in fighting games beyond meta fighting but you might enjoy it more.
Walkie Tonky is another curious concept like game. It is also in development because likely of its bugs as well. One particular one I note would be trying to click in the game would send the game window in and out of focus, fullscreen at least works around that. The main quip I have with the controls would be the need to wiggle the mouse to make the robot kick, and even then you may want to up the sensitivity of the mouse so you can kick effectively without too much wrist effort. Its a good idea but more refinement could see it a more positive reception especially when it reaches a more final stage.
Flash Cat is another flash based game but it’s also rather fun. The game takes me back to days from sonic 2′s bonus boards, monkey ball, and mode 7 racing games for the snes, and more recently surfing sections for Klonoa 2. The game is not that fast nor is it that challenging.. well unless you have difficulty with depth perception… okay so I enjoyed this game and because I was frustrated the least with it…
@Everyone so far – Great video comments so far! Keep em up!
Flash Cat is honestly just great old-timey arcade racing fun. Though Walkie-Tonky has fantastic concept and potential, it feels a bit ponderous. Death Vegas is beautiful, and innovative for a fighting game, but it suffers for it’s innovation by lacking the same speed and intensity that makes fighters popular. So my vote is for Flash Cat.
My vote is for flashcat {seesmic_video:{“url_thumbnail”:{“value”:”http://t.seesmic.com/thumbnail/VAJIk4Osnt_th1.jpg”}”title”:{“value”:”My vote is for flashcat ”}”videoUri”:{“value”:”http://www.seesmic.com/video/9E8o0sOXJa”}}}
Looked a little tired in this video, anthony. Hope you’re not sick!
Maybe going outside onto the top of a building might help make you feel better? :)
