[..YouTube..] wow i was in it this week…in text form anyway
[..YouTube..] Thanks for the great comment!
Sorry we didn’t use your video comment, but we didn’t get a visual when we tried to watch it. If you submit a video comment or a video question for Edmund, we’ll try to get you in next week.
I was rather excited for this game until I found out about the ‘pay more for the real game’ scam and proceeded to feel rather dirty for falling for something like this.
I’ve been playing Auditorium for quite a bit since It was mentioned on PA but I still thought Night of the Cephalopods was the better game due to it really going in on the mortality of mankind and the futility of fighting ‘Death And It’s Semi-Gelatinous Cacodaemoniacal Minions’ dripping with green ooze and sinister with latent horror.
No, I jest. I just love anything Lovecraft.
[..YouTube..] Must…Watch…Walken Off…
Wow, only my bad comment for SeppuKitties was put into the show. Well, I guess its a start.
I wouldn’t buy Space Invaders simply because I’m totally not into having to delete half the games off my Wii, just for one game. And I’m still waiting for World of Goo to come to Europe as well!
You son of perdition. You used my stuttering comment of Auditorium. I’ll have to be more careful next time not to come off like a moron. Hey, I don’t get multiple takes like you do.
A well, free plug for my site. Heh.
Also, Anthony, you had a link to the bad impressions in the video that you didn’t link to below the video. It was only in there for a second. It’d be a good idea, I think, to add them.
Great show, but for the love of whatever, get inside, man. It’s cold out there.
EXCUSE ME, JOE, BUT I BELIEVE I ONLY LINKED TO AWESOME IMPRESSIONS.
Good call, though. Lemme throw that in the notes.
I thought your comment was great. It echoed my thoughts as I decided to include the game in the show… it’s just getting so much press already, but I really enjoyed it too much to let it slide by.
You’ve got another chance for silky smooth delivery: send in a question for Edmund! (Insider tip: today is the best day to send in audio/video questions for inclusion next week)
@Mopsical – I’m sorry, I just loved that statement. It seemed to sum up most of the impressions of the game that people sent in.
@Lourens – Miguel assures me the expanded NoTC is coming our way, and I’m sure you’re looking forward to it as much as I am. Also note: your gravatar kicks ass.
Damn! You revealed my secret identity!
Thanks for putting my silly voicemail on the show, hope you got a kick out of it.
@Francisco – Thank YOU for giving me another excuse to post the Walken-Off video. I won’t rest until the Walken-Off is the internet sport of kings.
All voicemails have to be Walken-Off voicemails from now on, this is compulsory for getting on the show.
@Mopsical – You didn’t get World of Goo for the PC? Although, if World of Goo would come to Wii over here in Europe I’d totally buy it.
@Anthony – Sounds ace, I’m looking forward to seeing a longer version with more tentacled critters. By the way, I just had to get this for a gravatar. I couldn’t let Bytejacker be without some European sophistication in it’s followers.
Oh, any idea what you’ll do with the forums? I’d love to have a place where the ‘core community’ could discuss besides the comment field.
@Lourens:
It’s totally coming out for WiiWare this month, it’s already been confirmed by 2D Boy (which is supposedly next week, since thats the last WiiWare update in December). I didn’t want to get it for my laptop because it sucks for playing anything non-indie.
Oh, and BTW, I also think your gravatar rocks. Show those Americans which continent is the best.
@Lourens – there are some technical considerations I’m… uhm… considering when it comes to the forums. I’d like to ditch Vanilla (our current forum software) and bring in something that’ll integrate with the WordPress user database. Then you’d have one login that would handle comments and the forum (assuming we had to institute logging in for comments, and we probably will at some point in the future).
Right now I’m looking into what’s happening with the next version of bbPress, as well as phpBB and just moving to threaded comments.
@Mopsical – Yeah, that is why I got it for my desktop. I somehow dislike playing anything on my laptop and I just use the bloody thing for my ‘office’ stuff. Writing papers, doing research and procrastinating.
@Anthony – Well, if you need a hand with whatever I’ll be happy to help. The system, as is, is okay anyway. No need to rush stuff. But yeah, I’d be willing to lend a hand if needed.
dang, I had planned on getting Space Invaders Get Even. I cannot believe they pulled a stunt like that.
Guess I need to try Auditorium.

@Lourens – I don’t have a desktop though, just a laptop. Sadly, my family opted in for lots of laptops instead of one actual desktop.
i really could deal with 30 minute episodes if you can find the stamina.. bytejacker is always fun to watch but so short!
love the widescreen.
@Monkeystick – You’re trying to kill me aren’t you!
[..YouTube..] LOL Omg Deja vu XDDD
Weird. but yeah o: thanks for the video. It’s a good thing i youtubed the game first o.o
