It was closer this week than it has been in other weeks. I knew SY!NSO! was going to be the pick of the week, but I too kinda wish that Xycle had taken it. Ah well, you can’t beat celebrity.
On weeks like this where your planned content evaporates you should do something improv. Ever seen a Let’s Play? Pick your favorite game, or the game of the week, record yourself playing it, and just chat as you play. OR… you are in New York. There’s got to be a few video-gamers within a stones throw that you could put up fliers, conscript at a moments notice, and have them play the pick of the week. See what a “mainstream” gamer thinks of these cool downloadable games. Go to the comic shop with a laptop. I don’t know, there’s got to be something you can do when you’ve got nothing else to do.
You’ve got a great show. Keep it up.
