Sorry but it’s been too long that I’ve been wanting to ask: Are you high when you do the show? You kinda look “sleepy” ;)
Wow, I didn’t know The Maw looks amazing! Ok, I’ll buy it: thank you Anthony. Can’t wait for the Comic-con episode :D
ooooh it was a tight vote this week…..tight!
Hey dude Anthony you looked so pissed off in this video. Time getting to you?
- Your friendly internet lurker
Tight votes are good. hat means no game was insanely more popular and every one had a chance. There are some times when two games went up against a monolith, and I kinda wished that those two games could get another chance.
I love the timing of the appearance of the word “Closure” in the video with the guys saying “closure” in the voice mail. Intentional or not, we’ll never know.
This is so neat! One of my crazy comments made it up there! I feel like a mini-super star. Or Kirby engorged on one of those blocks.
Wasn’t expecting it to be so close this week. Well, I guess Assassin Blue does have a good narrative…
By the way, why do you guys have almost 2000 YouTube views on the first day its been uploaded, even though you only have 500 or so subscribers?
@Joe – Balance is important, but so is keeping stuff new and current. I try to report on the best and most recent stuff I can each week and keep it as fair as possible. However, since there’s not really any type of reward or incentive involved, I tend to think of the competition as just a fun bonus and a good way to gauge what kind of stuff you guys like.
@Kevin and Lurker – It’s not just when I do the show, dudes. I’m high and angry ALL THE TIME.
I am so high and angry right now… you should see how contemptuously I’m eating this entire bag of Funyuns.
Whatever. I can understand why you don’t want to answer that question, young one. Oh yeah, and review SSF2THDR next week or die!
I just remembered that you’re at Comic-Con next week, so you better review it the next week. And then Cuboid. Then Lumines. Then Evasive Space. Then Bit:Trip Beat.
@joe – I edit with a hankerchief over my eyes and let nature tell me what to click. Nothing is ever unintentional in the ways of the universe my friend.
@everyone – Also the vote was insanely close!
I’m curious just how close the vote was, like… to the number. :p For the sake of my vanity.
@Banov – Dude, I could count the votes you were down by on my fingers and toes.
It was super close.
So now everyone we have a word problem. If Game 3 had 23% of the vote, game 2 had 38%, and Game 1 won with 39%, and the difference in number of votes between Game 1 and Game 2 is between 11 and 20 how many total votes could there have been?
Remember to tell them how fast the train from Chicago was travelling, Joe.
It should also be noted that I was born with polydactlyism, but then lost an unspecified number of digits in a farm equipment accident.
Also, the train is going South.
It comes out to somewhere between 1,100-2,000 votes (11/.01 and 20/.01). Averages out to ~1,550 votes.
That’s, of course, not taking into account Anthony’s horrifically disfigured hands.
And the train will reach Connecticut in 3 days, 16 hours, 54 minutes.
im starting to wonder if braindead monkey is the only rating on bite the bullet
level 15 – braindead monkey ;___;
To be honest I loved the The Maw gameplay. Yes, it’s REALLY easy most of the time, also you cannot actually die, but you are thrown back a little and have to try again. But that’s actually a good idea. That’s one of the reasons I think Day of the Tentacle was my favourite LA adventure, you didn’t have to worry about dying.
On another note, I felt like this game was more of a puzzle game with humor in a 3d jump & run costume. Think Portal / Braid.
I hope these guys earn enough to warrant a second part, with more levels and a higher difficulty level, the concept is awesome IMO.
@Banov – You get the word problem solver prize.
@ Razor – I completely agree with you. I really really enjoyed playing this one a lot! For a $10 small caliber game, I really feel that Twisted Pixel is up for a very prosperous future if they keep up games like this in the future. I only wish it could have been longer considering I beat it the same day I started it. I really wanted to see what other kind of awesome forms the MAW could take. Who knows, maybe we’ll see a sequel in the future.
Thanks for watching!
love taylor she is amazing
