My favorite rpg of all time is Dragon Quest VII.
Its storyline was great. It had many interesting quests and enemies, and its characters all had distinct personalities. There were also many diverse weapons and skills. It had a great bit of space to explore and many towns to visit.
Even after you defeated the final boss you could still entertain yourself at the dragonian trials.

I see there are a lot of JRPG fans out there.
I, too, enjoy them but my favourite RPG is still Planescape: Torment!

No time for a video comment this week, guys. Sorry, I know how much you must miss my face.

Having spent entirely too much time in art school designing and constructing tiny boxes and books, papercraft holds a very special zen-like place in my heart right next to the smell of gamblin oil or a freshly opened bag of puffed cheez doodles. When I got a bigger desk at my office earlier this year and realized how empty it was, the first thing I did was make a papercraft of the Prince from Katamari Damacy to keep my books company and occupy space.

Favorite RPG? Totally not my genre, but I'm going to go with The World Ends With You because it stuck to all the conventions of the JRPG without all of the boring, tedious annoying crap that keeps me far away from such games. To date I have never played more than five minutes of any game with both the words "Final" and "Fantasy" in its title, but lord, did I enjoy running around the streets of Shibuya, picking out trendy clothes and buttons to wear and grinding against otherworldy beasts until my eyes went all blurry from the intense glow of power coupled with repeatedly darting back and forth between two screens of simultaneous combat. I even played those time travel bonus missions after beating the game. About halfway through the game, i rummaged through my drawer full of buttons I collected through college and started picking out groups of six to wear to work, changing them up every week or so. That game messed with my head in the best way.

Baldur's Gate 2 is my favorite RPG. Every tactic is a cheap tactic, therefore none of them are.

My favorite RPG is System Shock 2 because of it compelling story and incredible atmosphere. I've never been more scared while playing a game.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Diablo, Baldur's Gate, or Deus Ex. All three of these are excellent PC RPGs.
