You’re gonna call me a noob, but what is Karibo’s Shoe?
Nevermind, I youtubed it, and realized I misspelled it.
When I say check out the video below I mean the link to the youtube video. Check it out!

Kuribo’s Shoe: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6n-jtXDqys4
Check out 0:53 in that video. Totally just walks across a whole row of the baby Pirahnas. NOTHING can get through the thick leathery sole of Kuribo’s shoe. (Kuribo is actually what they called Goombas in Japan, so it’s “Goomba’s Shoe” but for some reason they kept the “Kuribo” name in the US, thus I want them to come up with a new character named Kuribo who just has an awesome wardrobe)
My favorite thing ever written about Kuribo’s shoe is from when the internet was just a babynet:
http://www.seanbaby.com/nes/toughest.htm
My fave powerup has to be the bikini suit, and Didn’t kuribo’s shoe stink to high heaven?
wait… What???
http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/283688
:P
the problem with karibu’s shoe is that i really don’t count it as a powerup. I mean all it does is make you jump higher and walk on chompers without getting hurt. It is only in one level and only one level. I just count it as a accessory.
Now if you like super mario bros 3. You might of heard of a super mario 3 hack, it is known as mario adventure. Quite fond of this game, the reason is, it can be a lot harder. The karibu’s shoe is a real item you can obtain and use before a level. Other items like the Magic wand, which makes you throw ninja stars and you can get hit three times before losing the item.
With these new items, they certainly made the game a lot easier. The point of mario adventure is to go through 7 worlds, 8 if you include bowser’s castle. You must find and obtain a hidden key in each world. Every world has about 10 levels or something. If you find the koopaling and defeat them then the princess will give you a hint of where the key might be.
Now try playing this game without cheating, i mean, don’t go looking up where the key is and try not the beat the game without using the magic wand items. They are certainly cheap.
I have the game, if you want it then let me know, just need a NES emulator.
By far, the best power up. Second to this would probably be the ice flower.

With ya, Tom. Fireflower. And my wife’s answer. I don’t think I’ll ever get her on camera.
Click to play this video.
Fire flower is great and all. But i remember when you had it in galaxy one and you only had a short amount of time to use it. Is that true?
Dude, I totally forgot the time limit in Galaxy until I started playing Galaxy 2. That sucks. You should be able to keep it!
It really is old reliable though.
Dr. Sanjay Gupta is by Travis Chen, not Adult Swim.
Whoops – forgot to update my notes template. Thanks.

Favorite mario power up? it’s obvious, the one that no one will probably say. The one that is superior to all powerups in any mario game since 1986, and that is the power star. Yet did anyone purchase the galaxy 2 game? Dude bowser just jumps in full throttle and is ginormous. But how? did kamek fly around with it’s pixie dust?
And anyone who is a die hard fan of family guy like i am will recognize the backsound of the video i was watching in my first video. Enjoy.
The super mushroom from new super mario bros. It was a extremely useful Power up, and helped me get through several of the levels.

Dang, the more I see pictures or even hear about that game I want to get it more and more! AHHH! I’m going to get it!
This may rub salt in the wound, but I’m not even gonna be playing ti for a while. I got it because I got a deal on it, but I have a very strict “no new games until you finish the current one” rule and I’m still i the middle of Lego Star Wars Complete. Well, near the end, but still.

Joe larson just my input on SMG2, some cussing so i don’t want your kids to hear me.
Okay, I’m gonna go old school here and pick the tanooki suit.
Click to play this video.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m almost certainly positve that the tanooki suit also allows you to go behind some background obstacles while on a moving platform.

Summary:
Voting form seemed off this week. Could account for blackfoot winning by so much.
Great episode. Real feedback question: Who do you think was behind the door?
FIRF Feedback:
o Castaway – Good solid RPG. A bigger effort than most flash games I’ve seen in a while. Hope it does well but it wasn’t for me.
o Civilizations War – Very Dyson like. Very good. Liked it. But can anyone beat:
o Dr. Barry Hussein’s Innerspace Adventure!
And by Innerspace I’m refering to the 1987 Martin Short/Dennis Quaid movie. Go educate yourself.
Yes, good old fashioned episode. I liked it.

YES! I’m copying Joe this time. I’m sure this will be a very time consuming game.

Camera problems, so it is audio only. But I had to comment this week.
Best Mario powerup has to be the Toonuki suit. Seriously, when else in video game history did you ever get to say: “I’ve getting me so tail” and “I’m so stoned”.
Just don’t get any better than that.
Oh, man. Between you and Tom you’ve pretty much nailed the Mario based prepubescent humor here.
And yet they were both accomplished with such timely flair that I can’t help but feel respect for both of them.
Hehehe. Wait, I’m going to have to watch my video for the Mario based prepubescent humor you are speaking of.
Perhaps my energetic mood is where the prepubescent humor comes in?
Seriously, you weren’t going for the immature humor there. Here, like this:
One mushroom makes you “bigger”. The other gives you one-”up”.
If that’s not what you were saying then… that’s sad on my part for hearing it.
Hahahahahaha. Oh man, I didn’t even notice that! Unintentional humor.

Vote for Free indie of the week: Civilization Wars
(same problem with the video) Hate you guys. I have gotten nothing done all week.

This is probably off-topic but I was thinking about something.
Bytejacker is all about free and independent games, right?
The TI graphing calculator family has a crapload of those.
(A lot of which are on http://ticalc.org.)
There is a whole community for this kind of thing!
But, I don’t know if you guys really do that kind of thing.
Hell, I don’t even know if you guys have a TI series calculator. [TI-83+, TI-83+ Silver Edition, TI-84+, TI-84+ Silver Edition]
But, whatever.
Just take a glance at some of the stuff that’s been made.
