What was that random noise in the background after the feedback?
I really dislieked Science Ninja. I thought it controlled well, but overall lacked gameplay.
I’m not into the kind of game that Corperation Incorperated is.
Enemy 585 was not the best Nitrome Game, but still very good.
Next week, you should do Super Treadmill.
I was unimpressed with Super Treadmill. It was pretty boring. It was a below average forced scrolling platformer. I don’t get the appeal. It’s basically Cave Chaos… only less of it. That’s right, it’s not even as good as a game done by the same people. That’s lame with a side of lame and a lame on top.
Tho I was impressed at how the character slims subtly down as the level progresses.
Looking back, you’re right. I think that it just was a bit of a time waster when I was bored. Have they done Sky Serpents? That’s one of my favorite Nitrome games ever.

It was nice to see Tara again. She’s one hot lady. The words on the shirt also exaggerated her curves, if you know what I mean… *drools*
(Yes, this is my first ever comment on Bytejacker D:)
I’ve beaten that “I wanna be the guy game” How many times did i die, i don’t remember but is around the range of 500 or something.
Now i can say for myself, some of these games you listed, i don’t think they are that hard.
Mega man 9, i thought mega man 10 was worse. And as for super mario bros the lost levels, ok not that bad, i remember there was a part where you used the spring to jump over the flag, and the warp pipe sent you back like two worlds…….i’ll never do that again lol.
Demon’s Souls should have been on this episodes list…
Can’t believe Wizards and Warriors 2: Ironsword isn’t on this list.
A comment about the show format. I don’t think the every other week thing is working. I hope you think that too.

Well you have to notice that last week was thanksgiving. Joe larson only left one text comment. I mean i agree with the bi-weekly, it should go back to once a week. Though now i have more time to think about my answer ya know. It was thanksgiving last week, maybe people just forgot or their out of town or something. We do have till what wednesday or thursday to leave a video comment. I don’t know where everyone is but this show is going straight down the tubes this week.
I just wanted to make anthony happy by delivering his request and record myself playing i wanna be the guy. I still think ninja turtles is harder than this though.
Can’t beat ninja turtles, but i can beat i wanna be the guy. You do the math.
What has two thumbs and isn’t responding to comments about going bi-weekly anymore?
THIS GUY.
This is always a slow time. Just look at last year. This is way slower than that was and maybe the bi-weekly thing has something to do with that. Me myself, I was out of town without internet access for 4 days. it was torment. Just got back yesterday and I haven’t had any time with just me and the webcam.
I don’t know if more show would mean more comments. The biggest problem with doing more, and correct me if I’m wrong, Anthony, but there is just no money in free games. Anthony’s gotta get his cashes on so… you know, what’cha gonna do?
You know what else it might be is having to register to post a comment. I mean, there’s still YouTube, yeah, and registration is easy and painless, but I’m betting that probably has slowed down the video responses too. Not saying it’s a bad thing. it’s necessary, but had it’s consequences.
I dunno, I don’t mean to be complaining or anything. Your right Joe, this time of year is a slow time. I guess I was just a little concerned, and I wasn’t around during the whole bi-weekly discussion. If it doesn’t change at the least I still appreciate the show and all. I guess I just thought I’d put my two cents in anywho, and I’ll stick with it for now. There are benefits to a bi-weekly show, I was just worried things would slow down too much, because at the end of the day I really like this podcast. I was just airing out some concern.
Understandable concern too. I don’t think any of us want to lose Bytejacker.

FRIF:
Enemy 585 – Innovative, yes. Fun, no. Playtest more.
Corporation Inc – Enjoyed the most. Getting my vote.
Ray Ardant – Portent of doom?
Ended up being 5 minutes of video comment, but I’m going to go with this one.
i give my review for the indie rapid fire, as well as my idea of the new bytejacker game.
script i wrote before to get my thoughts out, turns out i didn’t follow it very well.. :
out of the three free indie games, i’d have to say that i liked enemy 585 the best.
Corporation Inc was interesting, but too easy and there were some bugs, and the interface was cramped. I would have liked to be able to move the camera with my mouse somehow, instead of having to use the keyboard or the minimap. Overall the game was too easy, which is really what brings it down in my eyes. I like games to have abit of a challenge, and Corporation Inc just didn’t have that. All i needed to do was follow the first 5 or 6 goals, then i had enough income to spam workers and buildings. There was a lot of good humor in it, bosses beating their workers and IT beating computers.
Ray ardent Science Ninja was interesting, but again, too easy. The only thing really new for me was being able to change out abilities, even though i stayed for the most part with my first abilities, anti-friction, dive attack, double-jump and slide attack. The levels where put together pretty well, but where again too simple, so it just didn’t do it for me.
Enemy 585 is the game that gets my vote. for starters, it has an in-genius idea. save the last remaining bad-guy. The puzzles where well put together with a good learning curve, but they where never too easy. A lot of the puzzles i found myself memorizing only to make a simple mistake by rushing ahead a step or two in the process. The ability to speed up time was a fantastic addition, so that when you KNOW you made a mistake, you can get back to that area quicker, but still allowing for the player to make mistakes.
