You guys, How stoked are you for Indie Game: The Movie? I will tell you how stoked I am – VERY. And if you aren’t yet, you will be after watching our interview with BlinkWorks. We’ve also got your reactions to the Bitejacker footage we released last episode and Anthony answers some of your questions about the game. And, oh yeah, we leave the studio.
RADAR: Indie Game: The Movie Filmmaker Interview
You guys, Canada is a real place. They have plumbing and internet and filmmakers! Two of them, James Swirsky and Lisanne Pajot, are working on a documentary about indie games! We had them on the show to talk all about the project, which looks fantastic. To find out more about the project, see clips, and help out, check out their site here: LINK

The ending would have been better if John were still there. Felt kind of lonely and empty, not knowing who the guy holding the camera is.
Awe . . . :)
You think it’s weird for you!? I watched it and it brought back so many memories. I miss those days.
It actually felt like the big comeback of Bytejacker. And Jon, please get a kickstarter project going so we can fund you and Jasmine to fly over and make a special episode.
Haha! Hey man any excuse to come out there and make an episode would be great, I miss it.
Don’t they need talented camera operators and editors in SF?
Nah, they just order them from Los Angeles
WHO ARE YOU?
wow, the ending was somehow very deep and touching, and without saying nostalgic. It is sad you can give suggestions and participate in the game contest only if you have facebook.
Is that a bacon manatee?
“COME ON APPJUDGEMENT!”
You know, funny thing is I have family in California, was totally planning on spending the holidays with them, so depending on when you’re filiming _I_ might have been in the area. Unfortunately we decided to cancel the trip for financial reasons.
Actually, could have been me and my kids.
Don’t know why I mention that.
Just make everyone feel bad I guess.
MY HEART. IT HURTS. OH GOD.
Oh… Sanskrit. Didn’t see you there.
Well, this is awkward now.
It’s a narwhal.
Bummed you won’t be here, that would’ve been great!
Oh god there is no Hydorah on the Free Indie of the Year Voting list!!! Oh, well, it will always be the free indie of MY HEART!
Great episode, guys, it’s great to see you back on the roof.
Hydorah missed it by THAT much. I believe it was actually 11 or 12 on the list.

My free indie pick of the year is….
Since I only played some of these games I won’t vote just yet, but I know some that in my opinion are definitely not the Indie of the year. Those are:
Pax Britannica – sorry guys your game might be good but I don’t really like the genre.
Specter Spelunker Shrinks – The Unity thing does not work on my computer so actually I have no idea about this game.
Balloon in a Wasteland – about 30 minutes of gameplay, no replay value at all.
Sushi Cat – It’s really cute but boring, as far as I played random clicking was enough to complete levels
If I had to give my vote right now, I couldn’t decide between Super Crate Box (which I played the most so far), and Give Up, Robot which is just pure win and awesome(also I’d like to hit someone after level 30)
hahaha loved this epi! i’m really enjoying the skits with the rev3 guys, there’s a really nice “team” vibe. i’m totally excited about your game and the indie gamer movies. well done, i really feel that you’re now comfortable with your new environment, it does show and this is definitely the old new bytejacker!
the ending was epic, i think i got some dust in my eye ;-)
OT warning: hey anthony, any chance you might do an episode reviewing the best games development tools/environments? perhaps getting some feedback from some of the viewers since there’s a fair few indie games devs amongst them? i’d be interested to see who uses what and why.

sorry bout ze horrible quality
Not to sound mean, but mokeymoc you remind of that guy on youtube who thinks that contra was hard. Everyone hates um now. Name is sizzler07. take a look, but you sound and look a lot like um.
haha yah i guess i do
So, Mokeymoc. What IS your stance on contra? … hehehe.
ahhh hundreds of dead babies left in my wake nothing much
Hey guys, where was the music from this week’s episode from? It was pretty good stuff.
Love the show as usual. :)
Awesome episode! Actually had me laughing for quite a while.
Am I the only one that didn’t get the first joke btw? (first 20 seconds) I know it might not be funny when you explain it, but I didn’t get it AT ALL.
And yeah…who’s the cameraguy? IS IT THE GUY WITH THE MASK?! So much mystery.
The joke is (in front of camera) Anthony is never responsible. He’s a flake and a goof and always wears blue jeans.
Resisting the urge to over-explain it, but that should be enough. Let me know if you still don’t get it.
I don’t have the time to make a video this week, there’s been a tragedy in the family, but I wanted to take a moment to vote for Pax Britannica. Happy holidays everyone.
So according to Facebook I’m too late to vote (shame, I’m wearing an adorable Noby Noby Boy shirt today, too) but I just wanted to say my pick is Specter Spelunker Shrinks just because the one little gimmick of it was so great that I’m stunned I’d never seen it before. Some of the grow/shrink platform areas were crazy hard to pull off properly. It was a deceptively bad-ass platformer and I really enjoyed it.
Aesthetics alone, I love Devil’s Tuning Fork, but I could never get the damn thing to load on my virtualized Windows XP. Macs 4 lyfe, y’all.
