Hmmm… So Xbox Live Community games have to be played online? I didn’t know that, bummer. I’ve thought of trying to make a game for Xbox live. I still might. The online thing really bothers me though.
I personally wouldn’t have minded a little bit more on the games themselves as well. How did Weapon of Choice play?

@ Elmernite – I personally liked Weapon of Choice a lot. I also would have loved to go more in depth with each of the games but we’d probably have an hour long episode if we did and personally, I’d like to eat some turkey today ;)

No mention of in The Pit? I know that it lacks the graphical detail you expect from a next gen experience but it’s an altogether better game for it and very worthy of attention.
Nice overview of the XNA Community Games so far – although as mentioned, there’s a few more you could have covered.
Your maths seem to be a bit out of whack, though. Isn’t 800 points equivalent to $10? That’d make 400 $5, and 200 $2.50, not $4 like you’re working it out as.
I’d like to vote for Seven Minutes, Dyson, and Garden of Coloured Lights, but in the end I have to stick with the GameMaker goodness of Seven Minutes.

This week only sin(Surfing) and Duotrix felt interesting as the rest of the games seem to be incomplete and too short. Some looked like lesser clone versions of other games. Sin made me think of the another game that you perform dives and duotrix is a great addition to the many variations of tetris.
Indie game of the year in 3 letters iji. Had as much fun as cave story with great game play polished through years of work. I only played half the games on the list so I am not 100% sure.

Yeah, Indie of the Year is Iji for sure. The multiple endings, polished game play, retro SNES graphics. You simple cannot beat it.
