That was one hell of a sweet episode, but wait! What am I suppose to play while waiting for the part two? Where are the Indies of the week!
oh you lucky new york people :]
man that was awesome! I’m coming to New York! Right NOW! hope i don’t get mugged though :D
@ori – Hang tight and try some yellow belt Sudoku. We’ll have some awesome indies for you next week.
@missingsayoko – Did you hear? Your song is now the official Power Up theme!
the new power up song is tits!
And that is one sexy hat!
Excellent episode gentlemen.
@ccham44 – Thanks, Chris!
Dudes, ccham44 is Chris from Geeks With Issues. They posted the entire, for real interview with Dave Price, host of Black20′s “The Middle Show” and the winner of the Guiness Record, on their site today. Check it out:

We’ve got more great stuff with them coming up later in the week, and you’ll see some stuff from us on their site soon, too. If you’re one of the people that’s saying you like our show because you miss TechTV/old G4, you’ll love their show.
Awesome games. Velvet Assassin is probably the most awesome game I’ll probably never play.
And no, the new Power Up song is not tits. Or is that a compliment….
@ Mopsical – It’s a compliment that’s mostly used on film sets.
Well, I’m not an actor, am I? I’m not into that kind of scene!
So, I can use it anywhere as a compliment? Bytejacker is the tits! Comic-Con is the tits! Anthony is the tits! No wait, that last one sounded wrong.
[...] it should not be missed. Go over there right now, and watch every episode that you can. And then, Watch the Official Partner Coverage of the Guinness Book of World Records Win, featuring members of …. And take note – there is some exclusive content over there from your Geeks With Issues, including [...]
yeah i heard the song and it made me so happy i transformed into tits. im a pair of tits now.
but i still prefer the 2.01
@Mopsical – I am all tits, all the time.
Whoa.
Did things just get really weird? And a little skeevy?
didn’t this place have a forum? did u guys shut it down? I just noticed :P..
Oh and more thing I forgot about (man there really should be a way to edit posts :p) If you guys haven’t heard already ModDB is currently in the process of announcing the 10 ten 2008 mod but they also have a separate category for INDY GAMES so i thought maybe some of you would be interested in this, so here is the link http://www.moddb.com/events/2008-mod-of-the-year-awards/top100 this thing is pretty huge since the US air force (yes the united states air force :O) is the official sponsor.
@Everyone: Guys, I really didn’t want this to turn into a dirty conversation. I’m sorry.
@ Mopsical – The way I’ve heard the expression is usually when a grip or electric is setting up a light to a DP’s specifications and he gets it just where the DP wants it, he’ll say “tits.” It’s kinda like saying “woof” when you’ve moved something to a specific position to get out of a shot. Usually it’s “woof” but on a more comfortable and less formal set you’ll usually hear “tits.” Of course this is usually when there’s no women on set.
Great episode, Anthony! Kudos!! :D Now I want the outtakes!!! XD
Great ep, even if kissing up to Sega made me cringe!
Haha, looks like a lot of fun. I wish I could have been there. Next time!
@ Rob – We were certainly prepared for SEGA to disappoint as they have been but I gotta tell you that we were pleasantly surprised this time. With the exception of the continued rape of the sonic series.
@Ivy – You were certainly missed
@Rob – If you had seen Madworld, you would’ve told the guy you loved him too.
Sega had a particularly strong showing. We have an interview with the developer of one of their upcoming games on Thurday’s episode that you guys are going to LOVE.
But yeah… Sonic. *Sigh*
@Jon – Right, that’s OK, at least I know now. I’m not really a DP kind of guy.
And as for Sega, what they’re doing on the Wii is impressive by publishing loads of hardcore titles like The Conduit *wink wink*, but as for Sonic, god knows when he will be good again.
@Mopsical – My guess: not in our lifetime.
That’s what classic game night is for… just break out the Genesis and let the crappy new Sonic games melt away.
@sockpuppet – I don’t know why no one has responded to your forums question, but IIRC the original forums were actually a subforum on another forum and weren’t really well attended.
@Anthony – I use Ajax Edit Comments and it couldn’t have been easier to set up, tho I should probably edit the buttons to better match my site’s theme. Oh, and you’ve still got that dark gray on black thing going one.
And finally, I never realized how much I don’t care about the mainstream games that are coming out until I saw this episode. I kept skipping the developer’s pitching their games hoping that there would be something good after them. This was, by far, one of the least interesting episodes to me. Was there NO independent developers at Comic Con?
Do i still have MAME? Gonna try Turtles in Time and see why 200 points is so hard to get.
Which one of you just grabbed my ass?
We took the forum down a couple months ago. As I’ve said before, we definitely plan on bringing it back in the future, but we don’t have a timeline for it yet. I think comments are perfect for the size of the community we have right now. That will, of course, change as we grow.
@Joe – Calibrate your monitor, dude! I check this site out on three different computers and a smartphone every day and it’s looking sweet on all of ‘em.
Ninja Turtles gives one point per enemy, so you have to get pretty far in to get 212. The problem isn’t so much the regular enemies as it is the old-style, quarter-eating, beat-em-up level bosses.

It’s only my work computer that it’s hard to see on, but you gotta admit this doesn’t have much contrast going on.
David Price better be doing this on black20, or else I’ll be one angry man.
