The first two episodes of my new series, Retrovisionscope, are live NOW!

Retrovisionscope is a mashup of some of my favorite things – Mystery Science Theater, Pop-Up Video, and The Soup.

Every week we watch bad movie together and totally rag on it.  You leave comments on the film, and we pick the best ones to pop-up in the middle of the video for everyone else who watches.  Special bonus: I occasionally run around on-screen like an idiot!

Since this is our premiere, we need your participation, help, and suggestions.  Here’s how:

1) Head over and leave your one-liners about the movie.  We put up a great video that shows you just how to do it.  One thing to note: if you’re at a time BEFORE an hour into the movie (let’s say, 2 minutes and 45 seconds in), list the time at the beginning of your comment as “2:45,” not “0:02:45.”  It’s a YouTube bug, we’re working with them on it.  The show is all about the community, and we need your participation to build that community.  Trust me, when you’re watching a movie with like 80 bazillion hilarious one-liners spread throughout it, it’ll totally be worth it.

2) Spread the word.  If you’ve got a twitter, please tweet about the show (and follow my character, Maynard Von Trapp.  If you’ve got a blog, talk about it.  If you’ve got a YouTube channel, please set us as your featured video.  There’s never been anything like this on the internet before, so it’s going to take a little work for people to “get” it.

3) In addition to your gags and one-liners, be sure to leave comments telling us how the show can improve!  You’ve seen how much Bytejacker’s changed for the better based on your input every week- we can do the same with this show!
