Also… 3 videos a week?! What did you do to free up your schedule. I don’t see any corporate funding of Bytejacker all over. How you going to do that? I can’t wait.
Ha! When I saw you hunting for the name I was like “Oh, man, Joe is totally on the ball here.”
Ads will return. But not every episode, and there will only be one, shorter ad per video. I think it’ll be a much better fit for the show.
Oh yeah, looking for it on twitter. So why didn’t you give send me the name? I just about made the video comment I did with “That one game, with the zombies, you know… someone help me out here.” I found the name just by dumb luck.
Thing is that little episode and others like it put me in the existential mood where I contemplate the shear volume of games that I play these days. When I was a kid I’d play one game to the end, then play it again and again because it was all I had, all I could afford. Heck, I mastered Tooth Invaders on the commodore 64, the only game to have the ADA seal of approval. MASTERED.
Now I got to Armor games and go “sigh, no new games today.” It’s so bad that even a really great game changing game I can’t remember the name of because I was on to something else a few minutes later. I suppose I shouldn’t say “bad” because it’s neither good nor bad. Just what it is right now.

I’ve really missed the weekly shows. Through the Rev3 links I found Destructoid which has become a regular staple, but more Bytejacker was a major missing piece in my week!

Nina, Have Faith – Eversion ( http://zarat.us/tra/offline-games/eversion.html ) did the multi-layered thing better, but Nina made me feel like a foreigner in a land where I barely understand what’s being said around me, and I liked that because it heralds back to one of the best times of my life. So Nina, Have Faith gets my vote.
