What?!?! Are you fucking kidding?! “Sissy’s Maniacal Pussycorn Crapventure”, Free Indie of the Week???
Seriously, WTF? The Cult of Mediocrity? Where’s that hipocrisy gonna take us??
Unbelievable…
I know you were joking, but go watch the end of my video comment from last week. I admitted that this game wasn’t winning because it was a great game, only because it was created by a 5 year old, but I won’t let that fly next time.
I’m afraid I’m not laughing, Joe. And I did see your video last week, yet it didn’t make me change my mind. I must be a terrible, terrible person…
Or maybe, as Rocky’s Paulie would put it, “I’m the unsilent minority”.
I can’t stand the sort of phenomenon the Internet is turning this terribly annoying albeit slightly cute “game” into. Even if I should be more used to it, as this seems to happen several times a week.
I won’t push my point any further. I don’t feel like it. And I’m sorry I disagree with you this time. I just wanted to express my utter disbelief at this week’s (otherwise predictable) “landslide victory”.
Achievement unlocked: “Timmy Got Scrooged”.
Sorry, I thought we were on the same page.
Listen, I’m with you. The game, as far as a game goes, isn’t good. But as far as I know this is the first time “made by a cute kid” has been done in video games. Sure it pushes YouTube videos, mp3 downloads, and blogs all over the internet. So while, yes, the whole look-at-this-it-has-a-child-in-it thing is overdone I don’t see it as overdone in this field so, for me, she gets the appreciation.
Now, you don’t want to support that, nip it in the bud as it were, I can totally see that position.
And for the record I don’t think anyone is a terrible person no matter what they voted. Don’t take things so seriously, especially emphatic statements from me.
Well, that goes to her Dad’s credit: what a magnificent marketing vision he has! And a solid business backbone, too, as all the YouTube videos, mp3 downloads and blog’s visits become revenue, through donations and plush sales.
How long until “Sissy’s Maniacal Pussycorn Crapventure 2: The Search for More Money” sees the light of day??
Also, if I were Hempuli, or Bart Bonte, I wouldn’t be too happy seeing my legitimate effort crushed under the wave of “sympathy” for such a lousy, yet adorable, piece of entertainment. That’s not fair, gents, not fair at all…
I appreciate your conciliatory attitude, Joe. You’re a person one can talk to, as you always argument your points instead of simply arming yourself with the Hammer of Burning Righteousness (+7 SHT / -10 INT) and starting a flame war. That’s a rare and hugely valuable trait, especially in the wilderness of the Internet lands.
And I knew you were joking about the “terrible person” thing… Don’t take it too personally :)
hey just so you know, the voting poll still has the old FIR from last week. I CAN’T VOTE!! D:
Reimagine was… interesting. At least it backed up the weird commentary and non sequiturs with a handful of interesting mechanics (I liked the fast forwarding and rewinding in the youtube video thing).

Unless I hear otherwise from 10 people or more this may be my last video response to a Bytejacker episode. Video comments seems to have dropped off to the point where it’s just plain ackward my sticking around. So when Bytejacker comes back from haitus I may just not worry about video comments any more.
However, if the response is good I’d like to start a new feature where I discuss a free game every week. What do you think?
Hungry Sumo – I thought it was ripping off Hundreds (http://mile222.com/hundreds/) but it after doing a comparison I realized that this game really built on hundreds in a different direction. Good game. But not as good as…
Reimagine: The Game – Gimmicky, but good. It had a breath that you don’t see often in little flash game. I expect this one to win and it would have won my vote but…
zOMT – was, in my mind, more experimental and innovative and that tends to get my vote, but it was close.
Subscribe to my channel and leave a comment if you want to see a mini-show about free games. If I don’t hear anything back I’ll take a hint.

Voting for Hungry Sumo, I liked the others (dont let the complaints in video fool you) but this is the one I played the longest.
Never played that Hundred game or the planets eating planets one (title?) that’s similar so this was kinda new to me.
Kinda sad this show is ending. I’ve always been too lazy to comment or even register and now that I finally did its basically over. I’ve watched this show since maybe around my sophomore year of college and its kept me entertained with its obscurely brilliant games in ways that my classes never did. It’s also the reason I went to blip festival, I wouldn’t have even known the chiptune scene otherwise.
Anyways, I think Bytejacker had a great few years, it sure has come a long way since the illegally shot roof top episodes.
Maybe it is time to move on? I’ll definitely miss it though.
Reimagine :The Game…
after a playing about a hour.. Once I thought “oh, the game is not only just the craze but has a good gameplay”… and it became even crazier!.
