I’m a fan of crazy hybrids. Mix a couple genres together into something new and I get pretty stoked. That’s why I was excited about Slam Bolt Scrappers – a game that’s part Tetris, part Smash Bros., part tower defense, with a sort of TF2 aesthetic. And while it kind of delivers on the frantic fun it promises, it’s also the sort of jumbled mess you expect.
Rating: TRY IT

Did you think the game has the same fun level with Moove controls vs handheld? The “beverage mode” had me intrigued.
This is the first time I’ve ever seen long cuts of pure gameplay from Slam Bolt Scrappers – and it looks totally up my alley. I need to try this.
Also, Anthony, you perfectly articulated how I feel about modern multiplayer. It seems crazy that not every game in 2011 would support both local and online. I thought we lived in the future, video games! Get it together!
